Mhatre's injury is the real gut punch. He was their most dangerous batter, 201 runs before the hamstring tear ended his IPL 2026 entirely. Six to twelve weeks of rehabilitation. A massive hole at the top of the order that somebody has to fill tonight. Urvil Patel is the expected replacement and if ever there was a match to throw him in at the deep end, Wankhede on a dew-heavy evening is it.
